Please submit the completed application form to KFBG at least four weeks before the intended activity date.

Notes: All applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Confirmation Procedures

1. KFBG will confirm the applicants about the application details 1 month before the activity date..
2. After confirmation, a crossed cheque should be made payable to 'Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden Corporation' and sent to 'Education Department, Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden, Lam Kam Road, Tai Po, N.T.'  1 week  before the activity date.  Please mark 'The Secret World of Wild Animals' and Your Organisation Name on the envelope.
3. Upon receipt of the cheque, a confirmation letter will be emailed to the successful applicants.
4. Any request for changes of booking must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the scheduled activity date. Otherwise, changes (if applicable) will not be considered. Upon confirmation of application and payment, changes and refund will not be considered unless it is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, social movement or COVID- 19 Pandemic. 
5. If there are fewer participants than that stated on the application form, KFBG will not refund the payment.
6. KFBG reserves the right to refuse or limit admission for operational reasons. Admission to the Farm is also governed by conditions as stipulated in KFBG By-Laws. If an organisation fails to follow the visitors' guidelines or any information provided by the applicant organisation is found to be false or misleading, KFBG reserves the right to cancel the application and charge full amount of the fee.

KFBG Bylaws, Visitors Guidelines and Reminders

Visitors are required to comply with the bylaws and the visitor guidelines of Kadoorie Farm and Botanical Gardens (KFBG) when they are visiting KFBG. For details, please refer to the following webpage: https://www.kfbg.org/en/announcements/visitors-guidelines. Please also note the below terms and conditions.

1. Please wear appropriate clothing (e.g., sport/hiking shoes, sport clothes & hats) and bring along umbrellas or raincoats in case of bad weather.
2. There is no bottled water available at KFBG. However, we do have drinking water machines that can supply you with purified KFBG stream water. Please remember to bring your own refillable water bottle.
3. Young people are required to behave in an orderly and safe manner; shouting and running around, which are not conducive to a safe and meaningful learning experience, are not permitted. Teachers/group leaders are responsible for the behaviour of the young people in their care. (Only necessary for programmes with participants under 18)
4. A maximum ratio of 1:12 adults to young people is expected so as to facilitate a positive, safe, learning experience. Large groups should split into subgroups of 12 students maximum for the entire visit to enable a meaningful experience. Teachers and other leaders who do not follow this ratio may be asked to leave. (Only necessary for programmes with participants under 18)

Measures for bad weather

The following measures will be taken should any weather warning signal(s) be hoisted at 7:30 a.m. the programme day:

• When Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is cancelled or replaced by Typhoon Signal No. 1 and No. 3, KFBG would remain closed until the site has completed emergency clearing on potential damages.
• When Black or Red Rainstorm Warning, Landslip Warning are cancelled, KFBG will continue to close in 24 hours for safety check.
